In past years, impeccable menswear designer Tom Ford vowed he would never put out a sneaker. Fast forward to 2014, and the designer is now eating his words with the announcement of his venture into the lucrative business of luxury sneakers. The line is expected to hit retailers in fall 2014 with 2 different style variations, High-tops and Low-tops. The new collection will consist of two fabrics, a soft calfskin leather and velvet. Beautiful rich colors will encompass the line with burgundy, cognac, chocolate and navy, white and red. The retail price will start at $690 and top off at $990. Looks like Mr. Ford finally smartened up!
