Alongside her latest Vs. magazine cover story, model Soo Joo Park teamed up with filmmaker Jenna Elizabeth for a haunting new fashion short, titled Impossible Love. Styled by Vibe Dabelsteen in Morris Janks F/W 2014, Soo Joo Parks find herself in the center of an unconventional amorous relationship, wherein she falls for a beautiful statue.

Gorgeously shot with a string orchestra soundtrack, Jenna Elizabeth’s film explores, in her own words, “the elusive, the unattainable and how it can haunt us, even to our own destruction”.

A seasoned model and photographer, this is Soo Joo Park’s “cinematic” debut, of which she says, “I don’t have much experience with video or film, but as an avid cinephile, it was so much fun to get into a character and really play out a scene.” True to her words, she lists Ingmar Bergman’s Persona, Wong Kar-Wai’s Fallen Angels and Michael Haneke’s The Piano Teacher as her favorite movies.
